Spanish Manchego has long been the most popular cheese in Spain and is carefully produced according to old tradition.  It is made solely from the milk of Manchego sheep which are only found in the region where this cheese is produced.  This ensures an authentically unique flavor that remains unmatched.  These sheep still graze on sweet grass in the fields of the La Mancha region of Spain as they have done for centuries, guaranteeing that Manchego cheese meets the same high quality standards today as it did hundreds of years ago. 

Manchego has a firm texture and a creamy, mildly nutty flavor.  It melts beautifully and is a delicious compliment to Marcona Almonds and Spanish Sherry.
